A. Vetra creates handcrafted textile pieces grounded in traditional craftsmanship and natural fibers. A project shaped through collaboration, care, and time. Rooted in Italy.

Collaborating closely with local textile manufacturers based in Northeast Italy, A. Vetra creates small editions of home decor pieces and clothes that blend modern sensibility with ancestral craftsmanship, celebrating the profound connection between craft and land.
Each object tells a story of territory, ethics, and care.

NATIVE WOOL
From the very beginning, A. Vetra’s work has been rooted in natural fibers, valuing their inherent quality and character. Today, the project focuses on the native wools of Northeast Italy, recognizing the urgency of preserving this resource and supporting the continuity of local production and traditional practices. Grounded in ethical and emotional intention, this choice favors slowness over speed, allowing each piece to emerge as an act of relationship - with the land, its traditions, and enduring craft.
BOTANICAL DYEINGA. Vetra explores botanical dyeing as a means to deepen the connection with nature and the local landscape, allowing color to emerge from the rhythms of the land itself. Guided by curiosity and observation, a seasonal botanical dye archive has been developed, forming the foundation for ongoing and future experimentation.

Working with native wool becomes a form of tramando - a delicate yet radical gesture that resists the speed and superficiality of the present, honoring what is close, authentic, and essential through gestures, textures, and care.
